Senior Technical Designer

Role overview

P+A Projects Pte Ltd is looking for a Senior Technical Designer in Singapore to support architectural work from early planning through detailed design and site coordination.

Key duties

• Support the Architectural Associate/Architect in day-to-day project tasks.
• Prepare planning submissions and other regulatory applications.
• Create design concepts and presentation material using CAD tools as well as hand-drawing methods.
• Contribute to the detailed design stage and help align design information across the project team.
• Develop and revise tender documents and construction drawings.
• Communicate with relevant authorities, including planning and technical personnel, to secure statutory approvals.
• Attend site inspections and document meeting outcomes and discussions.
• Assist the project architect in resolving site-related coordination issues.
• Prepare and review detailed specifications for materials and construction processes.

Requirements

• A degree in Architecture or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of related professional experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Vray renderer, 3D Max, Adobe Photoshop, and SketchUp.
• Must be comfortable using 3D AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
• Ability to perform well in a demanding, fast-moving environment.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Positive, self-driven, and collaborative team attitude.
• Experience in commercial, mixed-use, or residential design work is an advantage.
