Role overview

Brio Digital is looking for an experienced technical recruitment consultant to run a desk within its Brio Logic brand, focused on data, AI, and software engineering hiring. This is a remote position, but the successful candidate must live within commuting distance of Leeds so they can attend occasional team days. The package includes a base salary of £35,000 to £60,000 plus a strong tiered commission structure with no thresholds.

The role can be handled as a full 360 desk or as a 180 split working alongside a delivery partner. It covers UK and international hiring, with opportunities across software engineering, cloud, product, test, data, and AI.

What you will do

  • Take ownership of a niche desk end-to-end, or work in a 180 model with a paired delivery consultant.
  • Generate new business through email, LinkedIn, phone outreach, and events, supported by daily business-development intelligence.
  • Develop long-term client relationships and build a repeat business book rather than chasing one-off transactions.
  • Present shortlists that lead to genuine client interviews.
  • Use the internal technology and automation tools as part of your day-to-day workflow.

Candidate profile

  • You should have at least 2 years of experience in tech recruitment.
  • You should have a strong and consistent billing record in either a 360 role or a high-performing 180 role.
  • You should be able to show success in winning new business and placing senior or specialist technology candidates.
  • A relationship-first approach is important; this role is not suited to high-volume, impersonal outreach.
  • You must be able to work fully remotely day to day while remaining within commuting distance of Leeds for occasional in-person team meetings.

  • This is not a graduate training scheme; it is intended for experienced recruiters who want autonomy.
  • It is not a pure delivery-only position unless you are applying for the 180 split.
  • It is not a business that only talks about technology adoption; the AI tools are integrated into daily operations.

Compensation
