Job description

About the company

Claritev is a healthcare technology and services organization that helps simplify complex problems across the healthcare landscape. The company works across multiple business areas, combining data, technology, and specialist services to help payers, providers, and employers improve results and lower costs.

Its Professional Services function is central to that mission, working closely with clients to implement solutions, improve performance, and create measurable impact. This is a role for professionals who want to build meaningful expertise, partner directly with clients, and progress into leadership while contributing to better healthcare delivery.

Role overview

This position is for a Senior Sustainment & Optimization Analyst supporting a large-scale Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium EHR program. The focus is on post-go-live stability, optimization, and enhancement work that increases the long-term value of the platform.

You will help guide system changes from intake and analysis through governance, testing, and deployment. The role involves working across clinical, operational, and IT teams, using strong analytical skills and IT service management knowledge to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

What you will do

As part of the team, you will act as a key connection between stakeholders and technical teams, turning business and user needs into practical, scalable improvements.

  • Support ongoing sustainment and optimization work for the Oracle Health Millennium platform, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with clinical, business, and technical teams to uncover needs, set priorities, and move enhancement work forward.
  • Gather, analyze, and document requirements for system improvements, optimization efforts, and issue resolution.
  • Convert user needs into system changes that support business, clinical, and operational goals.
  • Oversee a portfolio of sustainment initiatives and guide them through change management and release processes.
  • Run meetings and working sessions, including agenda creation, outcome documentation, and follow-up tracking.
  • Evaluate technical outputs such as design documents and test plans to confirm they match business needs.
  • Assist with IT governance activities, including materials for change control boards and communication of decisions.
  • Coordinate UAT so that solutions are validated against functional expectations and quality standards.
  • Share recommendations and insights that help leadership make strategic and operational decisions.
  • Keep cross-functional teams aligned so delivery stays timely and effective.

Required background

The ideal candidate will bring healthcare IT experience, deep familiarity with Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium, and a strong record in analysis, support, and coordination roles.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in healthcare IT, including application support, business analysis, or project coordination.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium and its workflows/capabilities.
  • Strong experience in requirements analysis, business process design, and incident/problem management.
  • Solid understanding of IT service management concepts and the software development/release lifecycle.
  • Experience supporting post-go-live sustainment and optimization in large healthcare settings.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Capability to handle multiple priorities independently and move work forward with limited oversight.

Preferred background

  • ITIL certification or formal training in ITSM frameworks.
  • Experience with large Oracle Health (Cerner) implementations or transformation programs.
  • Exposure to change control governance and release management best practices.
  • Experience in complex, matrixed organizations with many stakeholder groups.
