Job description

About the Role

Pretty You London is seeking a Senior Social Media Executive / Junior Manager to help drive the next stage of the brand’s growth. This is a strong opportunity to join a premium fashion and lifestyle business as it expands, evolves its positioning, and strengthens its presence in the premium fashion and wellness market.

The company has entered a new growth phase supported by fresh investment, with plans to reposition the brand higher in the market, broaden its European sourcing, and grow the team across multiple functions.

The Role

In this position, you will oversee the daily activity of Pretty You London’s social channels, making sure content remains engaging, consistent with the brand, and aligned with wider marketing goals. You will work closely with the Brand Marketing and PR Manager across content production, social planning, reporting, community engagement, and influencer campaign delivery, while also spotting opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and brand awareness.

This role is suited to someone ready to step up from a senior executive position into a junior management role and grow with the business as the brand continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help shape and roll out the social media approach across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and new/emerging platforms.
  • Oversee the everyday scheduling and publishing of content across all social channels.
  • Keep social calendars current and aligned with campaigns, launches, and seasonal activity.
  • Make sure all content follows brand guidelines and the correct tone of voice.
  • Spot opportunities to improve channel results and expand audience reach.
  • Create social-first content, including video, photography, and behind-the-scenes material.
  • Edit short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and stories.
  • Attend shoots, events, and activations to capture real-time content.
  • Write engaging captions, copy, and community responses.
  • Stay on top of trends and bring fresh content ideas to the team.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to maintain a polished and consistent social presence.
  • Manage and develop the brand’s community across all social channels.
  • Reply to comments and direct messages in a timely, brand-appropriate way.
  • Develop relationships with customers, creators, and brand advocates.
  • Monitor social sentiment and identify ways to increase engagement and loyalty.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content at events to support engagement.
  • Support influencer campaigns from briefing through to content collection and reporting.
  • Coordinate content from influencers, ambassadors, and brand partners where needed.
  • Assist with gifting activity and influencer outreach.
  • Work with the Brand and PR Manager to improve campaign performance across social media.
  • Make sure influencer content and user-generated content are integrated into the wider social plan.
  • Track and report on performance, engagement, reach, and audience growth.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly social reports with clear action points.
  • Review campaign results and suggest improvements for future optimisation.
  • Study competitor activity and wider industry trends.
  • Use data and insights to guide future content and strategy decisions.

Experience and Skills

The ideal candidate should bring at least 3 years of experience in social media, content, or community-focused roles, preferably within fashion, beauty, or lifestyle consumer brands. A strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and current social best practice is important, along with hands-on experience in short-form video creation and editing.

You should also have strong writing and communication skills, good organisation and project management ability, experience with scheduling and reporting tools, and confidence working in a fast-moving environment while handling several projects at once. A solid grasp of analytics and performance tracking is also required.

What the Team Is Looking For

  • A creative thinker with plenty of ideas.
  • Someone genuinely interested in social media trends.
  • Highly organised and attentive to detail.
  • Commercially aware and comfortable using data to guide decisions.
  • Motivated by the opportunity to help grow a brand community.
  • Confident creating content both behind and in front of the camera.

Culture

Pretty You London values creativity, ambition, and a shared commitment to building the brand. The team is creative and strategic, with a clear focus on creating a brand that consistently delivers for its customers. This is a valuable opportunity to join at a formative moment, where your ideas can have a direct impact on the company’s future.

Benefits

  • Birthday leave.
  • One day working from home.
  • Flexible working hours, with core hours from 10am to 4pm.
  • Early finish on Fridays to support work-life balance.
