Job description
About Fiddler AI
Fiddler AI is focused on making artificial intelligence more trustworthy and understandable. The company was created to help organizations reduce the risks that come with AI and generative AI, while improving transparency, monitoring, security, and performance across AI systems.
The platform supports AI, data science, and business teams in evaluating, analyzing, securing, and improving AI solutions so they can better understand what outcomes are happening, why they are happening, and how those outcomes are produced.
Founded by Krishna Gade, who has held engineering leadership roles at Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and Microsoft, and Amit Paka, a product leader with experience at Microsoft, Samsung, Paypal, and as a two-time founder, the company is backed by Insight Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Lux Capital.
Why This Role Matters
This position is designed for an experienced recruiter who wants to stay hands-on with hiring while stepping into talent leadership. You will build on existing recruiting foundations and bring in fresh ideas to strengthen and scale the function.
The opportunity is especially suited to someone who wants to contribute to team rhythm, influence hiring practices, and grow into a broader TA leadership path.
What You Will Do
- Own full-cycle hiring across GTM and EPD roles, working closely with leaders to consistently deliver strong hires.
- Advise hiring managers on calibration, quality standards, and closing strategies so candidate selection reflects long-term fit and potential.
- Identify and engage top talent early, including candidates from both industry and academia, so searches do not start from scratch when roles open.
- Improve recruiting systems, workflows, and interview design to make hiring repeatable, scalable, and effective.
- Apply strong judgment in candidate assessment, looking at growth potential rather than only past credentials.
- Design targeted outreach efforts and fair evaluation methods that strengthen both quality and diversity in the pipeline.
- Handle 8 to 12 open roles at the same time while keeping searches organized and candidate experience strong.
- Strengthen the employer brand through every interaction so candidates leave with a positive impression of the company.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-growing technology or SaaS environment.
- Direct experience hiring across GTM and EPD functions, with the ability to adapt across different talent profiles.
- Confidence working with senior leaders and shaping hiring strategy, not only carrying out recruiting tasks.
- A strong track record of engaging and closing candidates in competitive markets, including candidates considering offers from larger companies.
- Experience building recruiting processes, workflows, or interview structures from scratch or significantly improving them.
- Interest in taking an early step into talent leadership through mentorship, team coordination, and function building.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup from the Palo Alto office at least twice per week, specifically on Mondays and Thursdays.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $145,000 to $180,000 for Bay Area candidates only. Final compensation will depend on experience, leveling, location, and other role-related factors.
Benefits and Perks
- Competitive compensation plus equity
- Premium medical, dental, and vision coverage
- 401(k) retirement plan
- Unlimited PTO
- Monthly fitness reimbursement
- Paid parental leave
- Office location in Palo Alto
- Annual Caltrain pass
- Monthly in-office massage sessions
- Fastrak reimbursement
- Lunch provided in the office from Monday through Thursday
Additional Information
This role is currently intended for local Bay Area talent and follows a hybrid work model with office attendance required at least two days each week. The company may consider expanding this role to remote locations in the future.
Fiddler AI is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds. If you need accommodations during the interview process or to perform the job, you should let the recruiter know early in the process.
