Role Overview
Novo is seeking a strategic Senior Recruiter who is comfortable working at the intersection of hiring, automation, and process improvement. This person will not only manage recruiting outcomes, but also help create scalable systems that improve speed, quality, and efficiency as the company expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical, business, and leadership positions.
- Work toward hiring targets while ensuring candidates have a strong experience throughout the process.
- Create sourcing and outreach approaches that strengthen pipeline quality and improve conversion rates.
- Design recruiting workflows that use AI for sourcing, screening, scheduling, and reporting.
- Assess and introduce recruiting technologies, automation tools, and AI agents that boost team productivity.
- Develop repeatable processes that cut down manual work and speed up hiring.
- Spot and resolve bottlenecks in recruiting operations.
- Create structured interview methods, scorecards, and hiring frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers during intake, calibration, and final decision-making.
- Use recruiting metrics and labor market insights to guide hiring strategy and workforce planning.
What You Need
- At least 5 years of internal recruiting experience in startups or other fast-growing organizations.
- Demonstrated success hiring for both technical and non-technical roles.
- Hands-on experience building recruiting processes, systems, and workflows.
- Solid knowledge of AI-enabled recruiting tools and workflow automation.
- Strong sourcing capability and effective stakeholder management skills.
- A data-oriented approach, strong organization, and comfort working in uncertain environments.
- A builder mindset with an ongoing focus on improvement.
