Job description

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior manual QA professional to support both front-end and back-end testing efforts for a large organization of about 10,000 employees. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity based in Charlotte, NC, and the work will be performed remotely.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Test both user-facing and server-side functionality to help ensure product quality across the stack.
  • Approach testing with a critical mindset, actively looking for edge cases and failure scenarios rather than only verifying expected outcomes.
  • Partner with developers and other team members to uncover issues that standard checks may miss.
  • Use Azure DevOps, automation concepts, and AI-assisted QA practices as part of the testing framework.
  • Work with OnBase Unity Client version 23.4.1000 in a senior QA capacity.

Required Background

  • At least 10 years of experience in quality assurance at a senior level.
  • Strong hands-on experience with OnBase, manual testing, and SQL.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and software test automation concepts.
  • Understanding of how AI can be applied within a QA workflow.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Someone who is proactive, self-driven, and able to fit well with the team culture.

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly pay range for this role is $55.00 to $70.00.
