Overview
Xeinadin is hiring a Senior Payroll Administrator for its Killarney team in County Kerry, Ireland. The role sits within a firm formed in 2019 by bringing together a number of respected advisory and accountancy practices across the UK and Ireland, with a focus on delivering locally rooted, trusted advice to SMEs through strong working relationships. The company operates through collaborative regional offices and values people who can contribute expertise while growing their careers in a forward-looking environment.
This is a permanent position for someone ready to take charge of intricate, end-to-end payroll work and ensure each stage is handled accurately, compliantly, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to keep employee information accurate and up to date, while building solid relationships and delivering a high standard of service.
- Oversee payroll processing from beginning to end, including RTI submissions, pension uploads, and preparation of reports for payments and third parties.
- Keep detailed records and maintain a reliable document control process so that every input is traceable, compliant, and properly documented for audit purposes.
- Monitor changes in internal policies and payroll-related tax rules, applying the latest requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Prepare month-end journals and supporting reports when required for posting and audit review, helping support the organisation’s financial operations.
Requirements
- Accounting Technician or IPASS qualification, together with at least 3 years of payroll experience.
- Strong focus on detail and a consistently accurate working style.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and enjoying regular interaction.
- Self-driven, enthusiastic, and able to work well with teammates.
- Willingness to support and mentor junior colleagues where needed.
