Job description
Role overview
An established European wealth management and tax planning advisory firm is looking to appoint a Senior Paralegal for its London office. The role sits at the centre of legal, contractual, and governance activity, helping the business manage day-to-day legal operations with consistency and speed.
Key focus of the role
You will work with teams across the organisation to spot legal and commercial issues early, coordinate the handling of matters, and liaise with outside legal counsel when specialist guidance is needed. A major part of the position is making legal and contractual workflows more efficient, better documented, and easier to track across the business.
Core work areas
The role provides wide-ranging exposure to commercial agreements, supplier-related matters, legal operations, data protection administration, governance processes, legal research, and cross-border business activity. It is suited to someone who wants a broad in-house role in a growing international environment.
External legal support and matter management
You will help manage external legal work by preparing briefs for outside counsel, keeping clear records of advice received, monitoring open matters, and assisting with oversight of legal spend.
Experience and background
The employer is seeking an experienced professional with a law degree and around 6+ years of relevant experience in legal operations, contract management, paralegal work, or in-house legal administration. Background in regulated financial services or professional services is preferred.
Compensation and work pattern
The salary is up to £70,000 per year, depending on experience, and also includes a performance-related discretionary bonus and benefits. The company follows a hybrid working model.
