Role overview

Rockstar Games is looking for a Senior Manager, Product Management to help define the direction of its Creator Platform ecosystem. The focus of the role is to develop durable systems that enable creators to build experiences, grow audiences, and run active communities.

You will need a sharp analytical mindset paired with creative problem-solving to develop practical ideas for complex challenges. In this role, you will collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to shape and deliver the platform vision.

This is a full-time, permanent, in-office role located in Rockstar’s game development studio in central London.

What the team does

  • The Creator Platform group develops and manages technologies that let creators build their own game modes, experiences, and modifications, while players access community-created content on customized servers.
  • The team creates tools and services that help creators publish, operate, expand, and monetize their experiences.
  • The work sits at the crossroads of gaming, creator ecosystems, platform infrastructure, community, and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Own product initiatives end to end, from early concept and opportunity sizing through prioritization, requirements, release planning, launch, and post-launch review.
  • Build product strategy and roadmaps for key areas of the Creator Platform in collaboration with leadership, engineering, developer relations, analytics, publishing, and operations.
  • Apply feedback from players and creators, along with data analysis and market research, to guide priorities and product choices.
  • Spot opportunities and pain points across the creator ecosystem, including creation tools, publishing, moderation, discovery, operations, and monetization.
  • Strengthen current platform and commerce capabilities while identifying new services, business models, and growth paths for the creator ecosystem.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in product management, strategy, consulting, or a similar field focused on technology platforms or digital products.
  • Background in running live platforms with user-generated content, communities, or creator ecosystems, including attention to moderation, reliability, performance, and trust and safety.
  • Experience with digital economies, marketplaces, or monetized ecosystems where pricing, incentives, and supply dynamics affect user behavior.
  • Experience creating developer or creator platforms, such as tools, APIs, SDKs, or other systems used by developers or creators.
  • Strong product judgment and communication skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous problems, weigh trade-offs, and influence cross-functional partners.

Desired experience

  • Prior work on creator platforms, user-generated content products, developer tools, marketplaces, digital economies, or live-service game products.
  • Familiarity with online communities, modding ecosystems, or player-led platforms where community behavior shapes product outcomes.
  • Experience designing or running creator ecosystems with multiple participant groups such as creators, players, and platform operators, linked through shared incentives like monetization, discovery, reputation, or marketplace systems.
  • Exposure to experimentation, monetization, marketplace systems, or platform growth programs.
  • Interest in gaming, online communities, and user-created content.
