About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Senior Manager, Group Strategy & Growth will be instrumental in defining and advancing the organisation’s strategic priorities. The role carries broad exposure across the business and combines long-range growth planning with important operational work.
As part of a high-performing team, you will work alongside senior leaders on complex, high-profile initiatives that will help shape the future direction of the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Use established strategy frameworks to assess, shape, and implement strategic initiatives
- Support the creation and execution of the group’s growth agenda
- Lead and develop a highly effective team
- Identify and assess corporate development and strategic investment opportunities
- Provide commercial and strategic input to support major business decisions
- Prepare polished recommendations, presentations, and board-level documents
- Work with and influence senior stakeholders across the organisation
- Contribute to strategic programs that improve operational performance and deliver long-term value
About you
To be successful, you will need strong strategic capability, proven leadership skills, sound commercial judgment, and the confidence to operate in a demanding, high-calibre environment.
You should ideally bring:
- Experience gained in an MBB or other top-tier strategy consulting firm
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- The confidence to influence senior stakeholders and earn credibility with the board
- A structured way of approaching complex business problems
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce executive-ready materials
- Experience in infrastructure, energy, industrials, or similar asset-intensive sectors, which would be an advantage
- An engineering background, which would be helpful but is not required
