About the role

Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Banking (Crédit Agricole CIB) is the corporate and investment banking division of Crédit Agricole Group, ranked among the world’s 10 largest banks by total assets. In Singapore, the ISAP center (Information Systems Asia Pacific) is the group’s second-largest IT hub after Paris and its largest KYC operations center worldwide.

Within the Global Referential Management (GRM) division, which sits under the Operations unit, the team manages Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence in partnership with Relationship Managers and Financial Security teams. The Singapore team is hiring an experienced Senior KYC Analyst to support client onboarding across Asia, covering 8 locations. This is a 1-year contract assignment with a possibility of extension. The role sits in the KYC Middle Office and works closely with Front Office, KYC Checkers, and Financial Security stakeholders.

What you will do

  • Review client profiles to identify the KYC information required under procedure.
  • Examine existing documentation and request updated records whenever changes are detected.
  • Gather client information from public and other available sources.
  • Assess collected information, carry out reasonableness checks, and coordinate with Relationship Managers for additional documents, clarifications, and confirmations.
  • Run name-screening and background checks.
  • Enter client details and upload supporting documents into the KYC platform.
  • Work with quality reviewers and compliance teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain the overall quality of KYC files in line with compliance standards.
  • Contribute to process and methodology improvements, including the convergence program connecting Paris, London, New York, and Singapore.
  • Review and assess information to ensure KYC and Customer Due Diligence for new account openings and ongoing account maintenance meet local regulations and the bank’s global procedures.
  • Ensure onboarding and recertification due diligence packs are accurate and completed within required timelines.
  • Collaborate across teams and geographies, share knowledge, and support other stakeholders on KYC queries with a flexible, team-oriented approach.
  • Ensure KYC due diligence records are properly maintained and updated in the bank’s systems for reference and verification.

Requirements

  • Ability to spot material information and recognize potential risks.
  • Strong organization skills with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Persistence, diligence, and strong time-management ability.
  • Prior KYC experience, ideally 2 years or more handling corporate clients.
  • Ability to read Chinese is an advantage.
  • Ability to read Korean or Japanese is a plus.
  • Open-minded attitude and comfort adapting quickly to change.
  • Teamwork mindset and willingness to collaborate effectively.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in banking and finance, or an equivalent qualification.
