Role Overview

Mirai, a Scopely company, is seeking a senior-level IT specialist to own the day-to-day running of its IT operations and endpoint management setup. The position focuses on strengthening, expanding, and streamlining device administration, collaboration platforms, and essential infrastructure. This is a hands-on role for someone who can independently manage systems end to end in a fast-moving environment.

What You Will Do

  • Administer Google Workspace at an advanced level, covering account lifecycles, security configurations, and organization-wide policies.
  • Handle Slack administration, including workspace setup, integrations, access controls, and user provisioning.
  • Investigate and resolve networking issues with working knowledge of core concepts such as LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Deploy, manage, and maintain an endpoint management or RMM platform such as Ninja, Jamf, or an equivalent tool.
  • Oversee patching, operating system upgrades, and application rollouts across company devices.
  • Support the design and execution of a scalable endpoint management approach for laptops and other endpoints.
  • Keep systems secure, current, and aligned with IT operational standards and best practices.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical support cases.
  • Record procedures, settings, and standards to help improve efficiency and consistency.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of practical IT experience, preferably in a fast-changing or expanding organization.
  • Strong, hands-on administration experience with Google Workspace.
  • Strong, hands-on administration experience with Slack.
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals.
  • Experience implementing or managing an RMM or endpoint management solution such as Ninja, Jamf, Intune, or a similar platform.
  • Background in patch management, software updating, and ensuring device compliance across multiple systems.
  • Experience in a Managed Service Provider environment is strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to both macOS and Windows support environments.
  • Familiarity with endpoint security and identity management best practices.
  • Experience supporting distributed teams working remotely or in hybrid setups.
