About the Role
For our site in Laupheim, we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist (m/w/d) Machine Learning to join the team immediately. In this position, you will help build intelligent data and AI solutions for aerospace systems and components, including cabin interiors, onboard toilets, lighting, avionics, and supply systems. The purpose of the work is to make air travel safer, more comfortable, and more resource-efficient across the full lifecycle of an aircraft.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement modern cloud-based data platforms together with scalable, automated data pipelines.
- Provide a robust data foundation for analytics, reporting, and AI-driven use cases.
- Automate business processes using machine learning and artificial intelligence, with emphasis on SAP BDC and the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Lead the technical direction and execution of complex analytics and reporting initiatives.
- Evaluate, introduce, and promote innovative tools and technologies in the data and analytics space.
Requirements
- A completed degree or an equivalent technical qualification is required.
- You should bring several years of experience in IT, data, and information systems.
- Proven capability in leading and delivering projects is expected.
- Strong practical expertise in SAP Business Data Cloud and the Microsoft Power Platform is essential.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills are mandatory for both internal and external communication.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position depends on relevant experience and is set between €60,000 and €65,000 for a 35-hour work week.
