What you will handle
- Take ownership of purchasing, planning, and inventory approaches for assigned product groups, making sure materials are available for prototype work and production builds.
- Support and drive new product introduction activities, design transfer work, RFQ processes, supplier qualification, and end-of-life/last-time-buy planning to lower risk and maintain supply continuity.
- Build, monitor, and improve procurement performance measures such as on-time delivery, purchase price variance, cost savings, and supplier scorecards, while also improving related processes and tools.
- Work closely with suppliers to manage expectations around cost, quality, delivery performance, and lead times in partnership with engineering, quality, planning, and manufacturing teams.
Candidate profile
- You should bring at least 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or production planning, ideally within medical devices, diagnostics, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or electro-mechanical manufacturing.
- Direct experience with NPI work is important, including design transfer, prototype planning, and supplier qualification in a regulated setting.

- The ideal candidate is analytical, focused on continuous improvement, familiar with Lean or Six Sigma concepts, and comfortable stepping into a leadership role with a practical, solution-oriented approach.
