Job description
Role overview
TRIA is hiring a Senior Business Analyst for a digital product team within a major global food service and hospitality business. The position is based in Birmingham and follows a hybrid pattern with 2 to 3 days a week onsite. The package includes a salary of £50,000 to £60,000 plus benefits.
This is a hands-on digital business analysis role, not a traditional requirements-only position. You will be part of a cross-functional product team working on a large consumer-facing platform, helping shape problems from the discovery stage before they reach engineering. The role also involves acting as a link between senior business stakeholders and an offshore development team.
You will work closely with a Delivery Manager, a Solutions Architect, and the Principal Product Manager. As the product develops, there is a potential route into product ownership for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery activity and help define business and product problems from the outset.
- Work within a cross-functional digital product team on a large-scale consumer platform.
- Bridge communication between senior stakeholders and the offshore development team.
- Partner with the Delivery Manager, Solutions Architect, and Principal Product Manager to support delivery and product direction.
- Contribute to shaping how the product evolves and scales over time.
Requirements
- Proven experience at Senior Business Analyst level, ideally on complex digital products that continue to change and evolve.
- Strong experience working in agile delivery environments.
- Comfort working with uncertainty and incomplete briefs.
- Confidence engaging with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Exposure to digital platforms, APIs, or system integrations.
- A commercially minded, outcome-led approach with the ability to challenge constructively rather than only documenting requirements.
Perks and benefits
- Salary range of £50,000 to £60,000.
- Bonus opportunity.
- Healthcare coverage.
- Hybrid working from Birmingham.
- Scope to influence a high-profile product with real impact.
- Exposure to product ownership and strategic work as the team expands.
- Collaborative digital and technology environment with strong growth ambition.
Additional information
The ideal candidate will be comfortable thriving in situations where the brief is still developing. This opportunity suits someone who enjoys shaping the solution early, working collaboratively, and influencing outcomes across business and technology teams.
