You will also need to apply strong technical judgement across your own case files, while assisting the ERA Business Support Manager and wider team to maintain consistency in advice, case management and administrative practice.
The position plays an important part in making sure both local and national files are managed efficiently, that customers receive a professional and responsive service, and that ERA members are supplied with high-quality information and operational support.
Key responsibilities

- Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to support team members in delivering work on time.
- Assist the Business Support Manager and the wider team with consistent advice, case management and administrative processes.
- Support operational case management needs for ERA members.
- Help ensure files are managed effectively across the local office and nationally.
- Contribute to a professional service experience for all parties involved.
Experience and skills needed
- Proven experience in front-line response, allocation functions, case management, or a similar setting.
- Strong organisational ability, including the skill to prioritise competing deadlines and workloads.
- Experience coaching, guiding or leading individuals or teams.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
- Solid understanding of relevant employment legislation, operational policy, practice frameworks and business processes, and how to apply them in case assessment and allocation.
- Ability to build an inclusive workplace that respects and celebrates diversity.
- Comfort working at pace, managing varied requests and switching between tasks while staying positive.
- Legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
