Senior Architect / Design Coordinator

Role overview

This opportunity is for an Architect / Design Coordinator with strong Revit capabilities to support a design team for a confidential construction client in Qatar. The position begins remotely from Tunisia, with travel to Qatar arranged when needed. The work involves coordinating architectural design activities across client discussions, technical drawing production, and project team collaboration.

The role is well suited to someone who can turn client needs into practical design concepts, maintain drawing quality, and work smoothly with engineers, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders on residential, commercial, and fit-out projects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in client discussions and help convert brief requirements into architectural ideas.
• Develop and communicate design concepts and proposals in a clear, professional manner.
• Produce and coordinate drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Review, prepare, and coordinate shop drawings and construction details.
• Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, contractors, and wider project teams throughout the design process.
• Help maintain design quality across residential, commercial, and fit-out assignments.
• Coordinate design work remotely while keeping communication effective with Qatar-based teams.

Required profile

• A bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Interior Architecture, or a closely related built-environment/design discipline is required.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience is needed.
• Hands-on experience with Revit is essential.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
• The candidate should be able to read, prepare, and coordinate architectural drawings confidently.
• Strong communication skills and comfort dealing with clients and project teams are important.
• A portfolio or work samples demonstrating relevant design and drawing experience must be available.

Preferred experience

• More than 5 years of experience in architecture, design coordination, or project delivery is an advantage.
• Exposure to GCC projects or GCC clients is preferred.
• Experience with luxury villas, premium residential work, commercial projects, or fit-out assignments is desirable.
• Prior involvement in shop drawings and construction detailing is a plus.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, or similar visualization software is beneficial.
• Experience coordinating design activities remotely will be useful.
• Background working with contractors, consultants, or multidisciplinary teams is preferred.
