Role overview
Havas NZ is hiring a full-time Senior Account Executive in Auckland to look after client relationships, shape and deliver marketing plans, and make sure projects are completed on time and to a high standard. The role is integrated across media, social, and creative, with media being the main focus in day-to-day work. It involves working with internal teams, coordinating campaign delivery, presenting ideas, preparing useful reports, and tracking campaign results. The position suits someone who can work independently while still thriving in a collaborative environment, and it offers flexibility between home and office-based work.
What you will do
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and act as a dependable point of contact.
- Support the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaign plans.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver projects smoothly and within deadlines.
- Contribute to media, social, and creative workstreams, with a strong emphasis on media activity.
- Prepare and deliver ideas, updates, and campaign reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Track campaign performance and use insights to support improvements.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently while keeping quality and timing on target.
What we are looking for
- Proven strength in client management, communication, and solving problems.
- Hands-on experience with campaign planning, delivery, and performance review.
- Good project coordination skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of marketing strategy, advertising fundamentals, and current industry trends.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, collaborative team environment.
- Ability to use common advertising and marketing tools; digital platform knowledge is an advantage.
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a similar discipline.
- Around 2 years of experience in an account management role within an agency or marketing setting is strongly preferred.
