Semi-Skilled Joiner - Mould Setting

What you'll do

• Build and position moulds in line with production drawings and job specifications.

• Prepare mould surfaces so they are ready for GRC spraying.
• Work closely with the GRC spraying team to make sure moulds are properly set up for production.
• Support the preparation of moulds for repeated spray cycles.
• Confirm that moulds meet the required dimensional tolerances before work begins.
• Help with safe demoulding of GRC units after curing.
• Clean moulds after each use to preserve finish quality.
• Reset moulds for the next production run.
• Make minor repairs and adjustments to moulds when needed.
• Inspect mould setups for tolerance and finish compliance.
• Spot issues that could affect the quality of completed units.
• Escalate mould faults or design concerns to supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous experience in joinery, carpentry, or mould assembly.
• Confidence in reading and understanding manufacturing drawings.
