American AgCredit is building a modern digital lending platform that supports the agricultural community and helps accelerate access to capital for real estate financing. Role overview
The Scrum Master - Reimagine will guide work delivery for a next-generation agricultural lending platform. Reporting to the Head of Technology - Reimagine, this person will coordinate work across product, design, engineering, and external partners to keep delivery moving smoothly and aligned to business priorities.
The role requires strong hands-on ownership, the ability to work independently, and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment. A key focus is the front-end experience and helping deliver the ICR for Streamline Capital by the end of the year.
Success in this position depends on strong ADO expertise, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage risks, resolve issues, and keep stakeholders aligned.
What you'll do
- Serve as a servant leader by facilitating team flow, encouraging awareness of blockers, and helping resolve conflicts.
- Run daily standups to track sprint progress and maintain momentum.
- Partner with business delivery teams to translate large pieces of work into epics, user stories, and tasks.
- Coach the team on agile practices and support self-organization while reinforcing accountability to commitments.
- Follow the organization’s change management process.
- Help settle disagreements and guide the team toward decisions.
- Clear obstacles and support the team in finding workable solutions.
- Encourage ongoing improvement through retrospectives and performance indicators.
- Keep strategic and delivery goals organized and clearly communicated.
- Maintain effective communication with team members, technology leaders, and business stakeholders.
- Use creative problem solving and critical thinking to support delivery of business value.

- Work closely with other Scrum Masters to align practices across the organization.

Reporting and supervision
This position does not manage other employees. It involves some independent decision-making and reports to the Technology Director.
Experience and background
A bachelor’s degree is preferred. A Scrum Master certification (CSM) is required. The ideal candidate will bring five or more years of experience as a Scrum Master, Product Manager, or Project Manager, preferably in an agricultural or financial institution.
Strong interpersonal skills are needed to build trusted relationships with delivery teams, leaders, senior management, and internal or external stakeholders. The role also calls for excellent verbal and written communication, a solid understanding of the product development lifecycle, strong knowledge of agile methods, and the ability to prioritize and execute effectively.
Presentation skills are important, as is the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences. A basic understanding of software development practices is helpful, along with proficiency in computers, Microsoft Office, and relevant databases.
Job requirements
The role involves standard office work, extended desk time, and frequent use of computers and phones. While working, the employee may need to sit, crouch, kneel, crawl, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds. Familiarity with hardware and cabling practices is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization. The schedule follows normal business hours, though occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary. Some travel may also be required.
Remote work arrangement
This is a full-time remote role. The work can be performed remotely while maintaining customer service and business goals, though employees may occasionally work from an office if needed and attend some team meetings in person.
Compensation
The national base pay range for this role is $84,620.15 to $135,392.24 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on geography, qualifications, skills, experience, and work location. Title and level may also be adjusted depending on candidate fit. Pay is only one part of the total rewards package.
