SAP Basis + Solman + Cloud ALM Specialist

About the Role

PwC Service Delivery Center is seeking an experienced SAP Basis, Solution Manager, and Cloud ALM professional for their Hyderabad or Bangalore Acceleration Center. This role involves end-to-end management of SAP systems, including installations, upgrades, migrations, and cloud configurations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in SAP Basis administration, Solution Manager, and cloud-based ALM tools, with a strong understanding of HANA database administration and S/4HANA conversions. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute installations of SAP systems, including S/4 HANA, databases, and BOBJ.
• Perform end-to-end SAP upgrades, including Support Packages and major version upgrades.
• Configure and manage SAP cloud offerings such as BTP, SAC, and Cloud Connector.
• Lead full-cycle SAP migration and S/4 Conversion activities.
• Administer HANA databases and MS SQL databases.
• Implement and configure SAP Solution Manager.
• Manage system refreshes and client copies.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize system tuning.
• Configure SAML for single sign-on between SAP systems.
• Perform SAP Fiori configuration and troubleshooting.
• Communicate effectively with end-users, business stakeholders, NOC, and other IT teams.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice and mentor team members through training sessions.
• Contribute to estimations, RFPs, and project management.

Requirements

• 18-22 years of experience in SAP Basis and related technologies.
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA system installation, configuration, and administration.
• Expertise in HANA Database administration.
• Experience with SAP version upgrades and system conversions.
• Knowledge of BTP, SAC, and other SAP cloud tools.
• Experience in migration projects and S/4 conversion activities.
• Strong knowledge of HANA Database and MS SQL Database.
• Proficiency in BOBI and Data Services.
• Experience implementing and configuring Solution Manager.
• Familiarity with SAP best practices and methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows OS platforms.
• Experience with SAML configuration for single sign-on.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for performance issues.
• Experience with SAP Fiori configuration.
• Customer-facing experience with strong negotiation skills.
• Exposure to the ITIL framework.
• Must be proactive, self-motivated, and possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Must have at least one SAP Associate level certification and a HANA Database certification.
• PMP certification is preferred.
