Job description
Job Summary
This role is focused on maintaining a clean and safe environment within the facility and warehouse. The position adheres to Preferred Work Methods (PWM) for all tasks.
Responsibilities
- Remove all waste and debris from warehouse and dock areas.
- Address and clean up any product spills or foreign matter.
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as power scrubbers and sweepers.
- Perform general cleaning of warehouse interiors, including walls, floors, and racking systems.
- Maintain the exterior of the facility, including grounds, lighting, and parking lots.
- Sanitize common areas such as restrooms, offices, break rooms, and locker rooms.
- Adhere to a daily schedule provided by the supervisor to ensure consistent sanitation maintenance.
- Uphold a clean and safe working environment throughout the warehouse.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
Experience
- Prior sanitation experience in a warehouse setting is highly desirable.
