About the Role
This position is for a driven, collaborative sales professional who can strengthen existing business while opening new accounts. The role focuses on increasing sales by executing order solicitation plans, spotting growth opportunities, and supporting additional sales-related activities as needed. The person in this role should become highly knowledgeable about the Tito's Handmade Vodka brand and confidently share product details, brand history, and product benefits with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out local sales solicitation efforts to capture opportunities that grow orders and help meet company sales targets.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with brokers, distributors, retail accounts, and prospective customers.
- Track sales goals and support brokerage teams with strategies for soliciting orders for Tito's Handmade Vodka.
- Coordinate sampling activities both on-premise and off-premise to encourage orders and train sales partners on product solicitation.
- Set up product displays that support retail sales growth.
- Keep accurate, current records of contacts, new placements, follow-up actions, competitive pricing, and retail survey findings.
- Take on any other tasks needed to support order solicitation efforts in the assigned region.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of sales experience; experience in on-premise sales and beverage alcohol is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to analyze sales data and identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Understanding of the beverage alcohol market in the territory is an advantage.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well in diverse teams while building positive working relationships.
- Effective sales and presentation abilities.
- Physically able to perform all essential job functions.
- Knowledge of federal and state rules governing alcohol sales.
- Valid U.S. driver's license, safe driving history, and access to a reliable vehicle for work use.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
