Sales Representative - Laboratory & Medical Equipment

Company Overview

EAST WEST TRADING INTERNATIONAL (EWI) QATAR is seeking a sales professional to support its laboratory and medical equipment business in Doha.

Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site sales position focused on building demand for laboratory and medical equipment across the Qatar market. The role centers on winning new business, managing customer relationships, and expanding sales opportunities with healthcare and research clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect for new customers and convert opportunities into sales.
• Develop business with hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and research institutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with current clients and work to grow existing accounts.
• Handle negotiations and support the closing of commercial deals.
• Learn product ranges quickly and present technical features in a clear, customer-friendly way.
• Travel within the region as needed to meet clients and support sales activity.
• Work effectively with colleagues in a diverse, multicultural environment.

Required Background

• Prior sales experience in laboratory equipment and/or medical devices is required, with preference for candidates who have worked in Qatar.
• Good knowledge of customer relationship management, lead generation, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Basic technical awareness of laboratory instruments, medical equipment, and their applications.
• Strong verbal and presentation abilities, especially for explaining technical products simply and confidently.
• Valid Qatar driving license, or the ability to obtain one.
• English fluency is necessary; Arabic or another regional language is a plus.
• A self-driven, goal-focused approach suited to a collaborative workplace.
