About the role

This position sits within the Business Strategy & Operations function, where analytics is used to surface key business insights, keep cross-functional teams aligned, and move strategic partnerships and new initiatives from concept into execution. The group focuses on connecting company-level priorities with effective daily operations and helping promising ideas grow into future opportunities.

The Platforms and Devices organization covers Google’s computing software across desktop, mobile, and app environments, along with first-party devices and services built around Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams in this area develop new technologies that make computing faster, more seamless, and more useful for people worldwide.

Key responsibilities

  • Build accurate Pixel forecasts and new product launch projections using market signals, historical trends, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Support quarterly and yearly sales planning, and track results to spot operational shortfalls or strong overperformance.
  • Work with regional demand planning, global sales operations, and country leaders to keep demand plans and supply decisions aligned.
  • Find opportunities to use AI and automation to simplify workflows and improve communication across global teams.
  • Use SQL, spreadsheet tools, and advanced analytics to study sales performance, identify patterns, and shape business planning.

Minimum qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of practical experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in go-to-market strategy, sales operations, strategy and operations, management consulting, finance, or program management.
  • Experience in core business operations such as annual planning, headcount management, business reviews, or target setting.
  • Background working with executive-level stakeholders or clients.
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis and turning data into actionable insights.

Preferred qualifications

  • 7 years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, planning, or goal setting.
  • Experience in Hardware, Consumer Electronics, or Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).
  • Working knowledge of Google Sheets, Google Slides, and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of sales incentive design and planning.
  • Ability to assess complex information and recommend clear strategic actions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the flexibility to operate in fast-changing environments.
