Role overview
This position is suited to someone who takes ownership of outcomes, stays focused on targets, and can drive execution in the market. As a Sales Officer, you will work to increase point-of-sale volumes and improve product placement. You will also manage territories and customer accounts in a way that supports wider business goals and head office initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver distribution targets and ensure strong in-store execution and visibility.
- Monitor and maintain product quality across distributor and trade channels.
- Coach, guide, and supervise the front-line sales team.
- Handle relationships with distributors and customers, including retail and wholesale accounts.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate is a graduate with 2 to 5 years of experience in the FMCG, food, or beverage sector, along with strong communication and interpersonal abilities. You should have at least 2 years of field sales experience, a history of meeting or exceeding sales goals, and familiarity with commercial and office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint. Prior exposure to the FMCG industry will be an added advantage. Proficiency in both English and Hindi is required.
