About the role
Saal.ai is a UAE-based company that builds AI and Big Data products for government, defence, energy, and regulated enterprise customers across the GCC. The organization is hiring a technically confident Sales Manager who can lead the complete sales journey, from identifying and engaging senior stakeholders in Abu Dhabi’s government network to securing commercial agreements. The role covers the company’s product suite, including DataPrism360, DigiXT, and Saal Agent Studio.
What you will do
- Develop and expand a pipeline of target accounts across Abu Dhabi government, semi-government, energy, and regulated enterprise organizations.
- Run the full sales process using a consultative style, including discovery, solution alignment, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing.
- Present AI and Big Data capabilities in a clear, business-focused way for both technical teams and executive leadership.
- Work closely with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to build strong proposals and respond to RFP/RFT opportunities.
- Keep CRM records accurate, manage opportunity tracking and forecasting, and represent the company at relevant industry events and forums.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant technical field.
- 5 to 10 years of B2B solution sales experience with a demonstrated history of closing large, complex deals.
- At least 5 continuous years in the UAE market, with active connections in Abu Dhabi’s government and semi-government ecosystem.
- Proven success selling technology offerings to government, semi-government, or defence organizations in the GCC.
- Strong understanding of AI and Big Data concepts, with the ability to discuss them confidently with clients.
- A consultative sales mindset with the ability to help shape client needs rather than simply react to them.
- Current residence in Abu Dhabi or the ability to relocate right away; strong English communication skills and Arabic as an added advantage.
Preferred background
- Experience selling AI, Big Data, analytics, or enterprise data platform solutions in the UAE or GCC.
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi public-sector procurement environments such as ADNOC, AD Ports, ADQ portfolio entities, and health authorities.
- Hands-on exposure to RFP/RFT cycles and consortium or teaming models.
- Understanding of agentic AI, LLMs, or data intelligence platforms at the product level.
- Established senior-level relationships within UAE federal or Abu Dhabi government organizations.
- An MBA or Master’s degree would be beneficial, though it is not mandatory.
