Role overview

The hiring company is expanding rapidly across the UK car-buying market, with more than 500 branches already operating and new locations opening every month. This role is suited to an energetic, honest, service-oriented person who enjoys working with customers and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of a branch.

No prior car knowledge is required, as full training is provided. The position is ideal for someone with a customer-facing background who is comfortable working independently and wants to grow with a fast-moving brand.

Pay and working pattern

The base pay for this role is £28,200 per year, with on-target earnings of £35,220. In addition, there is a strong monthly bonus and an annual bonus linked to company performance.

You will work 42.5 hours per week on a rotating schedule of 5 days on and 2 days off. Weekend shifts are part of the rota.

What you will do

In this role, you will act as the key contact for customers at branch level while also helping ensure the branch operates efficiently.

  • Purchase vehicles from customers while supporting the day-to-day operation of the branch.
  • Reach out to customers, manage your schedule effectively, and stay on top of appointments and targets.
  • Assess vehicles, negotiate prices, close transactions, and deliver a high standard of customer service.
  • Work closely with the back office and internal colleagues to keep processes moving smoothly.

What the employer is looking for

The ideal candidate is someone who is target-focused, confident dealing with customers, and able to work alone when needed. Strong communication, organisation, administration, and IT abilities are important, along with a professional telephone manner.

A full UK manual driving licence is required. Experience in a performance-driven environment is also expected, and the role will suit someone who can stay composed under pressure and build long-term customer relationships.
