Job Summary
This role is for a Sales Executive based in Pune, India, within the Retail department. We are looking for candidates with 1-3 years of experience, ideally within the Dairy or FMCG sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business prospects by developing relationships with new Distributors, Modern Trade partners, and Channel partners through networking, cold calling, and market analysis.
- Meet and exceed established sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Effectively present, promote, and sell our range of products and services to prospective and existing clients.
- Cultivate and maintain robust, long-term relationships with customers.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations.
- Compile and submit regular reports detailing sales performance, future forecasts, and customer insights.
- Possess a foundational understanding of distributor operations and logistics.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a Sales Executive capacity or a comparable sales role.
- Prior experience in the FMCG sector, with a preference for candidates from the Dairy industry.
- Proficiency in interpreting sales data and understanding sales metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with fundamental sales methodologies and techniques.
