Role overview
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive position based in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on creating a welcoming experience for guests, offering informed advice on cigar selections, and delivering personalized service that reflects a premium retail environment.
What you will do
- Greet visitors warmly and engage them in a professional, customer-focused way.
- Recommend cigar options based on guest preferences and provide accurate product guidance.
- Work toward sales goals and contribute to overall store performance.
- Oversee the sales floor and ensure the space remains organized and customer-ready.
- Process purchases through point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently.
- Keep merchandise displays attractive and well maintained.
- Build long-term customer relationships through attentive and consistent service.
- Assist with in-store events, activations, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with teammates to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and polished store atmosphere.
- Stay current on cigar ranges, origins, and market trends to support informed recommendations and brand development.
Qualifications and requirements
- Demonstrated ability in sales and customer service, including guest engagement and closing transactions.
- Interest in or knowledge of cigars, hospitality, or luxury products, along with a willingness to learn product details, origins, and pairings.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a courteous and inclusive approach.
- Good organizational ability for managing the sales area, stock accuracy, and POS operations.
- Availability to work full time on-site in Doha, Qatar, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
- Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or premium/luxury sales is preferred; experience with cigars or similar products is an added advantage.
- Dependable, ethical, and collaborative, with a proactive mindset toward meeting individual and store targets.
- English fluency is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic is beneficial.
