Role overview
City Centre Rotana in Doha is looking for a motivated, guest-oriented Sales Executive who can strengthen business growth while delivering a high standard of customer service. The role calls for someone who can think creatively, build strong client relationships, and help drive revenue in the assigned market segment.
In this position, you will take charge of sales execution within your area of responsibility, working under general supervision to grow business from designated accounts and territories through direct meetings, phone outreach, and entertainment-based selling.
Key duties
- Build the hotel’s visibility by carrying out direct sales activity and maintaining strong market presence.
- Cover the assigned portfolio thoroughly, including managerial and departmental contacts across each account, to support full client service, target achievement, and productivity.
- Roll out sales targets and action plans designed to meet and surpass revenue goals.
- Develop business from transient clients, group bookings, and meetings.
- Apply approved selling approaches during negotiations and look for every suitable opportunity to increase upselling.
- Keep yourself fully informed about the property’s strengths, facilities, services, features, and operating policies.
- Prepare corporate proposal letters, annual contracts, and other required business correspondence.
- Share market intelligence and observations about shifts in demand, competitor activity, and other trends gathered through direct selling, calls, or mail outreach.
Education and experience
A background in sales and marketing is preferred, along with at least two years of post-graduation experience in a similar role. Strong computer literacy and excellent English communication are essential.
Desired competencies
The successful candidate should be energetic, inventive, capable of working independently, and committed to protecting and promoting the brand’s image and market position. Accuracy in records and client documentation is also important.
