About CliqPOS and the Company
RaveSoft Digital Solutions powers more than 500 businesses in Ghana and Nigeria through CliqPOS, a cloud-based point-of-sale and business management platform designed for African SMBs. The solution brings together sales, stock control, HR, hotel operations, restaurant management, and complete ERP functionality in one system. The company has been building business software for African markets since 2007 and is profitable and self-funded.
Role Overview
The company is looking for a sales professional whose main responsibility is to identify businesses that can benefit from CliqPOS and convert them into paying customers. The focus will be on business owners in Accra, especially those still relying on paper-based stock tracking or spreadsheets for sales management. The role involves product demonstrations, objection handling, and closing subscriptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to and meet 10 to 15 business owners every week.
- Deliver product demonstrations either in person or through WhatsApp video calls.
- Secure at least 15 new paid subscriptions each month.
- Share weekly pipeline progress updates with the CEO.
- Relay information about competitor moves and common customer objections to the wider team.
Required Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience selling B2B products or services to business owners in Ghana through field sales, not call-center selling. The person should be confident using a smartphone and WhatsApp as a sales tool, and be able to communicate effectively in Twi with shop owners as well as in English with senior decision-makers such as hotel general managers. Candidates should also be able to show strong past performance with measurable sales results from previous roles.
Compensation and Growth
- Monthly base pay of GHS 2,000.
- Commission of GHS 300 for each new paid subscription closed, with no earnings cap.
- High performers closing 25 or more subscriptions per month can earn GHS 9,500 or more monthly.
- Direct training and access to the CEO/founder.
- Opportunity to move into a Sales Manager role as the team expands.
