Role Overview

Deewan is hiring a Sales Executive in Riyadh to join its expanding sales organization. This role is focused entirely on new business acquisition and requires a self-driven individual contributor who can identify, engage, and close medium to large customers for the company’s CPaaS and SaaS communication offerings.

The position is suited to someone who can use market knowledge, industry connections, and consultative selling techniques to create opportunities and build a strong pipeline of high-value prospects. It is a commercially important role for someone who is energized by winning new accounts.

Key Responsibilities

New business development

  • Actively prospect and win new medium to large customers across priority industries such as banking, fintech, government, healthcare, retail, and related sectors.
  • Create and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, events, and market research.
  • Lead discovery discussions and position tailored CPaaS and SaaS solutions that solve each prospect’s communication needs.
  • Manage the complete sales journey from the first conversation through to final contract execution.

Targets and revenue delivery

  • Meet and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals for new business.
  • Keep pipeline data current and produce regular forecasts using CRM systems.
  • Share updates on sales activities, deal movement, and pipeline status with the Head of Sales.

Consultative selling and solution alignment

  • Build strong product knowledge and explain the business value of Deewan’s solutions to senior and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Translate client requirements into solution proposals by working closely with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams.

Market intelligence

  • Track competitor activity, industry shifts, and regulatory changes affecting the Saudi CPaaS and SaaS market.
  • Feed back insights from prospects and the market to help shape product direction and go-to-market planning.

Negotiation and closure

  • Handle commercial negotiations and secure agreements that work well for both the client and Deewan.
  • Ensure a smooth transition of the customer to account management and delivery teams after signature.

Requirements

Must-have experience

  • 2 to 5 years of demonstrated hunter-style new business sales experience in CPaaS, SaaS, telecommunications, or a closely related technology field.
  • A proven record of selling to medium and large enterprises in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong understanding of the KSA market, including key sectors, buying patterns, and decision-making structures.
  • An existing network of contacts within medium to large accounts in Saudi Arabia is a major advantage.
  • Experience handling complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred background

  • Exposure to CPaaS products such as SMS, WhatsApp Business, RCS, OTP, voice, or omnichannel communication platforms.
  • Ability to work in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
  • Experience serving government, banking, fintech, or healthcare clients in Saudi Arabia.

Skills and competencies

  • Strong hunter mindset with persistence, self-drive, and a strong desire to win business.
  • Excellent consultative selling and solution-mapping capability.
  • Confident communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in Arabic and/or English.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to build a convincing business case.
  • Comfort using CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms, along with Microsoft Office.
  • Good planning and multitasking ability to manage several opportunities at once.
  • Professional, ethical, and collaborative approach.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. An MBA or professional certification is considered an added advantage, though it is not mandatory.

This is a pure hunting role and an individual contributor position. The job is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is intended for someone comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment focused on new client acquisition.
