About the Role

Doha Petroleum Construction Co. W.L.L. is seeking a skilled Sales Engineer specializing in Process Instrumentation to join our team in the Doha Metropolitan Area. This role is crucial for driving sales within the Oil & Gas and Process Control industries, requiring a blend of technical acumen and commercial expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the sales of process instrumentation, including flow meters from leading brands such as EMERSON, ENDRESS+HAUSER, and YOKOGAWA.
  • Manage the complete technical sales lifecycle, from generating Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and preparing quotations/tenders to processing orders and conducting techno-commercial negotiations.
  • Thoroughly review technical documentation, including datasheets, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and compliance checklists.
  • Independently plan and execute sales activities to meet targets.
  • Facilitate seamless sales operations through effective coordination between clients and internal departments.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology, with a specialization in Instrumentation or Electronics.
  • Demonstrate practical experience in the technical sales of process instrumentation.
  • Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems is considered a significant advantage.
  • Exhibit strong capabilities in communication, negotiation, and client relationship management.
