Role Summary
The Sales Director position is a full-time remote role focused on shaping and growing the company’s sales approach across major channels. This person will own daily sales execution, including pipeline oversight, forecasting, and reporting, while ensuring sales goals are consistently achieved or exceeded. The role also includes creating and rolling out business development plans, spotting new market possibilities, and forming strategic relationships with distributors, retailers, and both on-premise and off-premise accounts.
What You Will Do
- Direct and scale the overall sales strategy across priority channels.
- Manage sales pipeline activity, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Design and implement initiatives that drive business growth and new account acquisition.
- Identify and pursue fresh market opportunities.
- Build and maintain partnerships with distributors, retailers, and on-premise/off-premise accounts.
- Lead, coach, and support a sales team while setting clear expectations and performance targets.
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer service to deliver a consistent brand and customer experience.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in sales and business development, with a track record of increasing revenue, launching new accounts, and expanding market presence. They should also have hands-on experience in sales operations, including CRM management, forecasting, pipeline discipline, and data-led decision making. A customer-first mindset is important, along with the ability to build lasting relationships and deliver excellent service. The role calls for proven team leadership skills, especially in guiding and developing sales professionals remotely. Experience in beverage, CPG, or a similar consumer products environment is a strong advantage. Clear communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities are essential, as is the capacity to work independently, manage several priorities, and perform well in a fast-moving growth setting. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
