Sales Development Representative - Vietnamese speaking

Role overview

Atlassian is hiring a Sales Development Representative focused on Vietnamese-speaking markets. This position is part of the sales development function and works closely with Sales and Success Account teams to generate pipeline while delivering a strong customer experience. The role reports to the APAC Regional Sales Development Manager.

What you will do

• Own outbound prospecting activity, carry a quota, and help convert outreach into qualified pipeline.
• Research prospects and qualify leads across customers through proactive outreach.
• Reach out through cold calls, emails, and other prospecting methods to connect with decision-makers.
• Work with sales, marketing, partner, and operations teams to shape lead-generation plans.
• Handle objections with messaging that emphasizes business value.
• Present the value proposition of the products to potential customers.
• Build and maintain communication and engagement with prospects.
• Draft personalized, relevant emails tailored to individual customers.
• Develop pipeline together with Account Executives and Marketing.
• Use Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, and LinkedIn Navigator in the workflow.

What Atlassian is looking for

The company is open to people who may be early in a sales career or moving into software sales from another field, provided they have strong communication skills. The ideal candidate has experience with customers in ANZ, India, Greater China, Korea, and/or Southeast Asia, especially Thailand, Vietnam, or Malaysia. The role calls for a results-oriented mindset, accountability, strong curiosity, and the ability to build trust quickly. Candidates should be comfortable with change, receptive to coaching, consistent in their routines, and motivated by impact and achievement. Creative thinking and ownership are also important. Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Thai, Vietnamese, or another relevant regional language is highly desirable.
