Overview

PHI Hotel Group is hiring a room attendant for work at its Kamloops, British Columbia location. This role is performed fully on site, so duties must be completed at the physical workplace with no remote option.

Previous experience is considered an asset, but it is not mandatory.

Key duties

  • Keep floors clean and presentable by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing surfaces.
  • Remove dust from furniture and other surfaces.
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, drapes, and upholstered items.
  • Prepare guest rooms by making beds and replacing bed linens.
  • Provide fresh towels, toiletries, and similar supplies to guests.
  • Restock linen storage areas.
  • Clean, sanitize, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other assigned spaces.
  • Clean and sanitize elevators.
  • Respond to guest requests for extra supplies and related items.
  • Collect waste and debris and empty garbage containers.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed.
  • Clean changing areas and showers.
