Room Attendant

Role overview

The Eddy Taproom & Hotel is looking for a full-time Room Attendant to join its housekeeping team in Golden, Colorado. In this role, you will help keep guest rooms, hallways, and shared spaces spotless, organized, and inviting, contributing to a warm and comfortable experience for every guest.

Signing bonus

New hires in a full-time role may qualify for a $1,000 signing bonus. To receive it, you must continue working full-time and remain in good standing. The bonus is paid in two parts: $500 after 90 days and another $500 after 180 days.

What you will do

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms, corridors, linen areas, storage spaces, guest pantries, and public spaces.
• Work in a fast-moving environment while keeping a sharp eye for detail.
• Handle cleaning and organization tasks with care and consistency.
• Spot service issues and take initiative to help resolve them in order to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Coordinate with teammates and share observations with supervisors and management so guest needs are addressed quickly.
• Update the Housekeeping Supervisor and keep the front desk informed about room status.
• Use cleaning products and equipment correctly while following the hotel’s housekeeping procedures.

What we are looking for

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays, and changing workloads.
• Prior experience in a hotel or housekeeping role is preferred.
• A warm, friendly, and guest-focused attitude.
• Clear communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong teamwork and a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
• A service mindset and commitment to doing work with excellence.

Preferred background

• Experience working in a boutique hotel environment is an advantage.
• High school education or an equivalent qualification is preferred.

Physical expectations

This position requires standing and moving for up to 8 hours at a time. You should be able to move efficiently between overlapping tasks and events, and regularly lift items weighing 15 to 40 lbs. The work also involves walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, and using hand dexterity to operate equipment relevant to the department.

Pay and benefits

The role pays $19 per hour.
