Job description

Role overview

The Room Attendant is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and smooth delivery of housekeeping services across the property. This position focuses on maintaining guest rooms and shared spaces to brand and cleanliness standards while working closely with guests and the housekeeping team to ensure efficient service.

Key duties

  • Service assigned guest rooms and areas in line with hotel procedures and quality standards.
  • Prepare rooms to be guest-ready by cleaning and arranging them to the property’s expectations.
  • Keep lobbies, corridors, and other shared areas clean and presentable.
  • Carry out laundry tasks as needed.
  • Restock housekeeping supply areas and keep them organized.
  • Deliver consistently strong guest service while handling daily tasks.
  • Respond to guest questions and requests when required.
  • Inform management about room damage or maintenance issues.
  • Turn in any found items to the Housekeeping Manager.
