About the Property
BreakFree Grand Pacific Resort sits right on the beachfront at Caloundra and offers one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments along with a resort-style pool. It is a popular stay for travellers looking for a relaxed getaway. During your free time, there is plenty nearby to enjoy, including shops, cafés and restaurants with views over Pumicestone Passage, as well as some of the Sunshine Coast’s best beaches for sun and surf.
Role Purpose
In this housekeeping role, you help create a memorable guest experience by keeping guest rooms spotless and ensuring every detail is handled with care. The position also involves working closely with the wider team and assisting guests when needed, all while contributing to a welcoming and high-quality stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including changing linens, sanitising bathrooms and wiping all surfaces to create an excellent first impression.
- Follow the property’s housekeeping standards and procedures consistently to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- Keep housekeeping trolleys organised, fully stocked and ready for use.
- Handle cleaning products safely and follow all relevant safety practices to maintain a secure work environment.
- Protect guest privacy and security at all times.
- Flag maintenance concerns quickly so issues can be resolved without delay.
Skills and Experience
Applicants are expected to bring a guest-focused attitude, good teamwork, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment. The role is physically active and may require movement through internal and external staircases and open walkways. You should also be comfortable working different shifts, including weekends and public holidays, and have dependable transport.
