Role overview

This full-time merchandising position supports a Southeast grocery retailer in Saint Augustine, Florida. The work is hands-on, detail-focused, and centered on reset and remodel projects that help stores keep shelves and displays aligned with planograms.

Compensation

The posted pay rate is $15.00 per hour. The employer notes that experience, skills, and location can affect the final wage, and the listed range remains $15.00 to $15.00 per hour.

Schedule and work style

This role follows a steady Monday through Thursday schedule from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The employer also highlights early start times, potential downtime during major holiday periods, and possible opportunities for a four-day workweek, depending on team assignment.

What you will do

  • Use planograms to complete reset and remodel assignments accurately
  • Remove, clean, and reposition shelving as needed, and install racks and fixtures
  • Set shelf tags and shelf strips while preserving planogram accuracy
  • Handle pack-outs, replenishment, and reorders
  • Work with store staff and fellow team members to deliver strong merchandising results
  • Escalate observations, concerns, or issues to management
  • Use web-based tools to track schedules, assignments, time, mileage, and expenses
  • Prepare required records and paperwork with accuracy and efficiency
  • Follow safety rules and identify unsafe conditions proactively

Experience and qualifications

  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to several store locations
  • At least 1 year of experience reading and working with planograms preferred
  • Prior retail merchandising and reset experience preferred
  • Professional presentation and a strong work ethic
  • Access to a computer with internet, email, and printing capability
  • Comfort using smartphones and handheld devices
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to use basic hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and case cutters
  • Ability to safely work on ladders or step stools when required
