Telscie Innovations Private Limited is a research and development organization headquartered in Durgapur, West Bengal. Its core work centers on discovering and developing new antibiotics through a mix of computational chemistry and microbiology-based experimentation.
Role overview
The Research Assistant will support laboratory studies involving bacteria to help assess how well drug candidates perform during development. This position is based in Bidhannagar, Durgapur.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out bacterial experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of compounds under development.
- Prepare culture media needed for laboratory work.
- Perform antimicrobial sensitivity testing.
- Handle autoclaving and related sterilization tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of experimental observations and results.
Candidate profile
The preferred applicant should hold an MSc in Microbiology, be between 21 and 27 years of age, and have at least 6 months of practical experience working in a microbiology laboratory.
Compensation
The pay starts at Rs 22,000 per month for freshers who have completed their dissertation. Candidates with more than 6 months of microbiology lab experience after earning their MSc may receive Rs 25,000 per month.
