Job description
Role Overview
Maynooth University’s Department of Biology is hiring a Research Assistant at Level 2 to offer hands-on technical assistance for the mass spectrometry facility. The role supports both internal and external facility users and contributes to several ongoing projects. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor Sean Doyle.
Compensation
The salary for Research Assistant Level 2 (2026) is €39,061 to €44,311 per annum, calculated on a pro rata basis across 7 points. Appointments will follow public sector pay rules.
