About the Role
FVN Research is assembling a focused team for public markets research. The initiative is independent and centers on disciplined investment analysis, market research, and quantitative research processes. The immediate priority is to strengthen the research base through careful analysis, alpha idea generation, backtesting, and polished research deliverables across public markets.
What the Work Involves
As a Research Analyst, you will contribute to a range of analytical workstreams spanning fundamental investment research, macro and sector analysis, quantitative signal development, backtesting, investment memos, deal-oriented insights, and publication-ready research writing. The role is designed for people who think clearly, work with structure, and are comfortable producing output that meets a high standard.
Profile We Are Looking For
The team is seeking motivated students and early-career candidates, ideally with backgrounds in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline. Prior exposure to Python, Excel, valuation, statistics, backtesting, investment writing, or data analysis will be an advantage, though the strongest emphasis is placed on reliability, intellectual honesty, initiative, and a genuine interest in public markets.
