Job Summary

This role is for a meticulous and insight-driven Research Analyst who will gather information, evaluate data, and turn findings into recommendations that inform business planning and decisions. The position involves working with a range of data sources, spotting market patterns, preparing clear reports, and sharing conclusions with relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out both qualitative and quantitative research across internal and external sources.
  • Gather, examine, and interpret data to uncover trends and commercial opportunities.
  • Build research reports, presentation decks, and concise executive summaries.
  • Analyze markets, industries, and competitors to support decision-making.
  • Create and update databases, dashboards, and research records.
  • Track market movement and translate insights into practical recommendations.
  • Work closely with teams across functions to advance strategic initiatives.
  • Check research outputs for accuracy, consistency, and credibility.
  • Share insights and suggestions with leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with additional research assignments as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Market Research, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, or a closely related discipline.
  • About 1 to 3 years of experience in research, data analysis, business analysis, or another analytical function.
  • Well-developed analytical ability and sound critical thinking.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on exposure to data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Capability to manage several research tasks and deadlines at the same time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to SQL, Power BI, Tableau, SPSS, or comparable analytics platforms.
  • Working knowledge of statistical techniques and research methods.
  • Background in market research or competitor analysis.
  • Familiarity with survey software and data visualization tools.
  • Experience handling large datasets and business intelligence systems.
