About the internship
This internship is focused on reporting for a publication centered on urban affairs. The role combines news gathering, writing, editing, and digital storytelling, with an emphasis on subjects such as city development, public policy, and social issues.
What you will do
- Track stories, conduct research, and draft or refine news pieces on urban development, policy, and social topics.
- Create attention-grabbing posts and content for social channels such as Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram.
- Plan and produce short-form video and other multimedia assets that support news coverage.
- Work closely with the editorial team to keep outputs aligned with the publication’s objectives and tone.
Who can apply
This opportunity is open to candidates who can commit to a full-time, in-office internship, begin between 2 July 2026 and 6 August 2026, stay for 6 months, and bring relevant skills and interest in the work.
Stipend
The internship offers a monthly stipend in the range of INR 15,000 to 25,000.
