Role overview
Inizio Engage partners with a major biotechnology organization across commercial, patient support, and medical affairs work. This role focuses on handling inbound and outbound telecommunication projects while representing the client professionally.
Compensation and schedule
This position is paid at $18 per hour. The expected start date is September 2nd. Team members must be available Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday coverage. Working hours run from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM EST on a rotating-shift basis.
What you’ll do
- Deliver high-quality support across assigned client programs by following approved scripts and program guidelines.
- Gather and record information accurately in the appropriate program systems and databases.
- Use strong communication and call-handling skills to interact effectively with callers.
- Speak with callers in a compassionate way and help explain medical terminology when needed.
- Stay organized while managing several projects at the same time.
- Follow company policies and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Remain flexible within the department, including taking on administrative and non-phone tasks when required.
- Protect patient privacy and confidentiality in line with HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
What you need
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent job-related experience.
- Previous inbound call center experience is required.
- Strong verbal, written, and listening communication abilities.
- Comfort handling a high volume of calls and documentation.
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly when priorities change.
- Capability to join frequent meetings and calls without interruptions or disconnects.
- Good computer skills, including use of the keyboard and mouse, and overall technical comfort.
- A polite, professional phone manner.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts based on business needs.
- Availability for some Saturdays, with a weekday off to balance the schedule.
- Experience with Five9, Salesforce, Verint, and Microsoft Office is helpful.
- REMS experience is preferred but not mandatory.
