Role overview
McCauley is hiring a Relief Pharmacist to support its pharmacies in Clonmel, including Davis Road, Showgrounds, and Poppyfields. This is a permanent full-time position covering several stores across the counties.
This opportunity offers exposure to the Uniphar family of brands. As part of the relief rota, the goal is to keep your store schedule as consistent as possible so you can build familiarity with the teams and customers at each location. Relief schedules are issued 6 to 8 weeks ahead.

Key responsibilities
- Support the Supervising Pharmacist in maintaining operational compliance and carrying out company initiatives
- Work alongside the team to deliver care-focused solutions for customers and patients
- Contribute to the clinical, professional, ethical, and financial performance of the pharmacy in line with company and regulatory standards
- Assist with healthcare activities and company or marketing events
- Keep the team informed about business results and new initiatives
- Take part in staff training and encourage ongoing team development
- Provide updates to the Pharmacist Regional Manager on store performance and employee performance
Requirements
- Must be a registered member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland
- Community pharmacy experience in Ireland is helpful, though applicants from other backgrounds will receive full training
- Demonstrated experience in people management
- Self-driven, enthusiastic, and confident with strong interpersonal skills and sound clinical knowledge
- Excellent communication skills, strong customer awareness, and commercial judgement
- Strong patient and customer focus with a high standard of in-person service

This is a permanent full-time role based onsite in Tipperary, County Tipperary, Ireland. The role involves relief coverage across multiple stores, and rosters are planned 6 to 8 weeks in advance.
