Job description

Job Overview

The Regulatory Executive will be responsible for ensuring that products meet all relevant local and federal compliance standards. This includes managing product registration, coordinating government approvals, and maintaining accurate master data. The role also requires close collaboration with authorities such as Dubai Municipality and MOCCAE, along with practical ERP work covering item code setup, data updates, and master data control.

Product Registration and Regulatory Approvals

  • Oversee the end-to-end registration of products, making sure all supporting documents reach the right regulatory bodies within the required timelines.
  • Draft, organize, and track regulatory files, submissions, and records so that compliance obligations are consistently met.
  • Check that product labels, packaging, and promotional materials align with applicable local rules.
  • Handle the full MOCCAE product registration workflow from start to finish.
  • Liaise with public authorities and regulatory agencies to secure approvals efficiently and without delays.
  • Address questions, requests for clarification, and follow-ups from authorities promptly and effectively.

ERP and Master Data Management

  • Use ERP systems actively as part of day-to-day work.
  • Create item codes in the ERP with complete and accurate product information at the time of setup.
  • Revise product records in the ERP whenever regulatory, labelling, or packaging changes occur.
  • Protect master data accuracy by running regular checks, spotting inconsistencies, and correcting errors quickly.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
  • Applicants should have 2 to 3 years of experience in regulatory affairs or compliance, ideally in the retail industry.
  • Prior exposure to ERP-based item management and master data work is a strong plus.
  • Strong command of English is required; Arabic would be beneficial.
